Motor Usage Guide
To ensure optimal operation of OMM, OMP, OMR, BM3, BM4, and other cycloid hydraulic motors, the following is recommended:
1. Oil Temperature: Normal operating oil temperature 20°C ~ 60°C, maximum system operating temperature 90°C (should not exceed one hour).
2. Filter and Oil Cleanliness Level: Filter precision is 10-30 microns. It is best to install a magnetic block at the bottom of the oil tank to prevent metal shavings from entering the system. The solid contamination level of the working oil should not exceed 19/16.
3. Oil Viscosity: Kinematic viscosity at 40°C oil temperature is 42-74 mm²/s. Hydraulic oil can be selected based on actual operating and ambient temperatures.
4. Motors can be used in series or parallel. When used in series or parallel, if the back pressure exceeds 10 MPa (speed below 200 RPM), an external drain port must be used to relieve pressure. It is best to connect the external drain port directly to the oil tank.
5. The output shafts of BMS, BMSY, BMT, BMV, BMK6 series motors can withstand significant axial and radial loads.
6. The optimal operating condition for the motor should be chosen between 1/3 and 2/3 of the rated operating condition.
7. To ensure a long service life for the motor, it should first be run at 30% of the rated pressure for about 1 hour when applying load; in any case, ensure the motor is filled with oil before applying load.
